Experienced in the diverse aspects of leading community organizations, Tanya Steinberg most recently held the President and CEO position with International House Philadelphia (IHP). Working closely with the Board of Trustees, Tanya Steinberg oversaw a variety of fundraising efforts and secured a capital project grant for an organization that has a major cultural impact in the Greater Philadelphia area. The capital project grant secured the upgrade of the IHP Ibrahim Theater. Funds secured by Tanya Steinberg are of critical importance on continued success of the 40year old Philadelphia Film Program.
The IHP’s newly renamed its Film Program. Lightbox Film Center (formerly known as IHP Film program) has a history of screening thought-provoking independent films amd extends back four decades. A 40th anniversary exhibition traces this lineage through a thematic focus on women and children and their representation in film. It examines the partnership that developed between the Neighborhood Film Project and the International House that held true to foundational values through film series such as Real to Reel. The film program at IHP is going strong to this day.
